Broadening Your Palette With Exciting And Flavorful Food!

A night in should be fun, exciting, and delicious. Chef Emily helps create unforgettable experiences for you and your guests. Indulge in incredible fresh and seasonal food. We take care of everything for you; from planning, grocery shopping, prepping, coming to your home to cook/entertain, and cleanup!

Chef Emily is an ACF (American Culinary Federation) certified Culinary and Pastry Arts Chef with over 15 years in the restaurant industry. In 2019, she traveled to France to participate in a Culinary Study Abroad program. She branched out in 2021 to start her own business where she could explore the flavors that excite!

Preparing the meals we love means our seasonal and varied menus keep the dinner table interesting, healthy, and enjoyable. We work with you on creating a specific menu for you and your guests. Chef Emily has extensive knowledge cooking with gluten free, dairy free, vegan, and vegetarian diets.

Our mission is to help create a unique and fun event centered around a remarkable cuisine. We love ramping up original dishes and making them exquisite! Fun, fresh, flavor!

SATISFIED CLIENTS

We were very happy with the services provided by Marbled Cake & Steak for a 6 day long class. We requested 6 days of lunches and dinners for a small group of students and teachers with various food sensitivities and Emily provided great meals for all. Everything was beautifully labeled and displayed. Some of the favorites shared by the students were her turkey burgers and pork tacos. She provided some very good salad options. The corn chowder was wonderful. There were some yummy desserts and breads. Everyone wanted her delicious brownie recipe, which I'm sure she will not share. One student said it "was the best brownie I ever tasted". 
Student evaluations stated "meals were great", "meals were really good" and  "meals were tasty". She aimed to please and it was appreciated by all.

Our family had the pleasure of enjoying chef Emily's food on our first trip to the mountains, in NC. We have two very picky eaters. Our oldest has food texture issues and our youngest has several food allergies along with a gluten sensitivity (I also have a gluten sensitivity). Needless to say dinner time at our house was chaotic. However, while on vacation, we noticed how chef Emily, engaged our children and was extremely careful about ingredients, etc. Not to mention, the food was incredible! She got both of our children to try new things and got them to expand their pallet, some! In fact, we were so impressed we got in contact with her, after vacation, and she now cooks weekly for our family! This plan has taken the anxiety out of dinner planning! We're enjoying dinner as a family, again! If you get the chance, you should hire chef Emily, for your next vacation, event or family dinner.

Our group hired Emily to travel with us and cook for our families on a New Years getaway. We all agreed that it was the single best decision we made. She did the grocery shopping, prep work, meals, snacks AND cleanup. Everything she made was delicious from the tuna poke tacos to expertly prepared fillets for New Year. She was so creative with snacks-different types of popcorn, a hot chocolate bar, ricotta cake, and amazing dips. Emily engaged with the kids and many of them tried different types of food that they may not have. While I enjoy cooking myself, to be able to relax and not have to prep a meal was priceless. I would highly recommend Emily to cook for your family, group, or party for any type of occasion!

Chef Emily put together an amazing birthday dinner for my girlfriend and her family. It wasn’t just a dinner, it was an experience. She prepared 3 beautiful courses with options to satisfy a group with diverse tastes - Vietnamese spring rolls, crab stuffed peppers, ahi tuna tacos, and more. The star of the night was the Chinese hot pot experience that she prepared. To finish, she made a traditional sweet rice and mango dessert plus a special vegan key lime pie for the birthday girl. It was such a pleasure to plan this special event with Emily. We will absolutely be having her back for many more occasions!
